The Care Plan, £29 a month

This is about having somebody look after the site for you. Hosting is normally free on your own account either way, so what you are paying for is someone to make the changes and answer the questions.

There is no minimum term and no exit fee. Cancel whenever you like and everything is handed over, still in your name. Taking the plan does not change the terms you agreed for the build.

What is in it

A small change means swapping one image for another, rewording a sentence, or updating a price, a phone number or your opening hours. Rewriting a whole paragraph, adding a page or a new feature is quoted separately. Unused time does not carry over. Full Care Plan terms.

No small print

What is not in the price.

Nothing here is a surprise at the end. Where you pay a third party, you pay them direct, in your own name, so the account is always yours. There are also optional extras you can add later, listed on each of the example pages, and none of them are needed for the site to do its job. If you would rather not write your own content, we can do it for a fixed fee, quoted before we start.

Your domain name

Usually about £5 to £15 a year depending on the registrar, paid in your name. We will tell you exactly what to buy, or point the one you already own.

Business email

If you want you@yourbusiness.co.uk, that is a Google or Microsoft subscription paid direct to them. Setting it up and connecting it is included at no charge.

Professional photography

Optional. Good photos of your own work beat stock every time, but plenty of sites launch well without them.

The price is fixed and the turnaround is short because the offer is narrow. If you need any of this, we are the wrong people, and we would rather say it now than halfway through.

Pricing questions

Straight answers.

Is the 50% offer real, and how long does it last?

Yes. WebBack is new and we want ten sites we can show people. The offer runs until those ten builds are taken, after which the prices go to £495 and £895. If you are reading this, some are still available.

Will VAT be added to these prices?

No. WebBack is not VAT registered, so there is no VAT to add and the price quoted is the price you pay. If that ever changes, anyone already quoted keeps the price they were given.

Can I start with one page and add more later?

Yes. Adding a second and third page later costs a little more than buying the Three-Page Site up front, but starting with one page and growing into three is a perfectly sensible way to do it.

What if I want a fourth page?

We will quote for it, and it is usually modest. What we will not do is quietly grow a three-page site into a fifteen-page one, because that is how projects stall.

Do you take payment plans?

The standard terms are half up front and half on approval, with the balance due within seven days. The site goes live once it has been paid in full. If that does not work for you, say so on the call and we will sort something reasonable.

What if I do not want to write the content?

Then we will write it. The words are already included in the price, written from your call and your notes, so most people never have to draft anything. If you would rather hand the whole thing over, including gathering the detail, we will quote a fixed fee for it before we start.

Does a privacy notice use up one of my pages?

No. A privacy notice, and a terms page if you want one, are necessary information pages rather than content pages, and they sit outside the count. A three-page customer still gets three real pages.

What if I want to leave?

Then you leave, and you take the site with you. The domain, the hosting account and the files are in your name from day one. There is nothing to unpick and nobody to chase.
